New Year’s Eve in Iceland

The Icelandic New Year's Eve is by many considered the most breathtaking New Year's celebration in the world. Thousands of people attend community bonfires scattered throughout the different neighborhoods in Reykajvík. If you’re lucky, you may even chance to see the Aurora Borealis.
